Well guys the time has come to say goodbye to the sport I love and have been apart of for twenty years. It just seems like yesterday that I was the 22-year-old kid racing at David’s track. Now I’m 42 and just don’t have the desire and passion that I had just a couple of years ago. I always said that when lost the drive to do my very best I would quit and for the past two years I have just been going through the motions and I can’t keep doing that.
I have met a lot of great people over the years and some of my best friends I met while racing. I would like to thank each and every one of you for all the help and support you gave me over the last 20 years and for keeping me out of trouble. I know that was a big job because trouble always follows me, LOL. They are some special people I would like to talk about: David for getting me started in racing, Heath, Brett, Lynn, McNutt and Matt for being the brothers I never had, George, Doc and Jimmy for being my Georgia buddies, all the guys I raced dirt with this past summer, Gary, Steve, Robert, Michael and all the people who have used parts made by Cooper Motorsports. I would also like to thank all my sponsors: Berry and Joe Hill (Hyperdrive), Tekin, Power Push, Cooper Motorsports, and Frostbite graphics.
Thanks
Chris Cooper
P.S. I don't need a rocking chair yet!!!!! LOL _________________ Chris Cooper

on the bright side... drivers everywhere are rejoicing. No more tripping over Cooper's milk crate
I'm kind of retired myself. The speedo wars did me in, but honestly the last couple of years I haven't had much fun racing even though I've done pretty well. _________________ Do you know someone who suffers from chronic whining?
